CHUNG·ANG University offers Gender Equality and Human Rights Education to raise our members’ awareness in order to improve equal relationships and a safer sexual culture on campus.
Faculty and staff members
All members of CAU are required by law* to take preventive education about sexual harassment, prostitution, sexual violence, and domestic violence, education for improving awareness of the disabled, improving awareness of the disabled in the workplace at a minimum of once a year for an hour each (Total 6 hours). CAU Center for Human rights and Center for Students with Disabilities provides preventive education programs in English each year.
Students
Every CAU student is required by law* to take a preventive education course in sexual violence , domestic violence and education for improving awareness of the disabled every year (Total 3 hours).
The CAU Center for Human Rights provides preventive education programs in English each year in both online programs and offline special lectures, so you can take the course through online or offline lectures following your preference.

4) Article 4-3 of the ACT ON THE PREVENTION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND PROTECTION, ETC. OF VICTIMS
5) Article 25 of the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities Act (Improvement of Social Awareness, etc.)
6)Article 5-2 of the Employment Promotion and Vocational Rehabilitation Act for Persons with Disabilities (education to improve awareness of persons with disabilities in the workplace)
